Welcome to Limitless Hiker!

I’m Jenny, a hiking and outdoor adventure coach helping people become limitless, build confidence, and feel empowered to go on the adventures that they’ve been dreaming of.

A Limitless Hiker is able to pick a trail and go for it without fearing for their safety, without second-guessing your skillset, and with the confidence needed to make it to the top of the mountain and back down. A Limitless Hiker works with their limitations, with the obstacles in life, and still finds a way to get out there. It’s not about how you can’t get outdoors, it’s about asking yourself HOW do I make this happen.

How different is your life going to look when you step into being a Limitless Hiker?

You can get there too.

I didn’t grow up hiking and backpacking the trails you see me doing today. Prior to 2014, I had never even slept outside or hiked more than a couple of miles locally. Some of you probably haven’t done that much either at this point. Now, I can pick literally any trail and go for it. Whether I’m solo or backpacking with others, I can go safely and with confidence.

I’m here to help get you to this point too.

Back in August 2014…

A buddy of mine had a brilliant idea that we should go to Mt. Whitney, without knowing what we were doing. I thought “Hey, sounds like fun! How hard can this be?” Well… HA!

Did you know it hails in August in California? Did you also know that you can get a fever from altitude sickness?

Well, my buddy and I learned the hard way. But I was so blown away by the peaks and backcountry lakes, that I knew I wasn’t done with them. I just knew that I would have to do things smarter.

After that…

I threw myself into learning how to hike harder trails and go backpacking. I had no one to learn from, so I made countless mistakes.

How many times have you seen girls hiking in HOT weather in nothing more than a sports bra and leggings? Been there, done there… got heat exhaustion and barely made it back to the car on a short mile long hike.

How many times have people at REI told you to buy heavy waterproof hiking boots? Well I learned the hard way that hiking in waterproof boots in the summer months is a great way to ruin any beautiful trip with blisters.

Did you know that the $30 sleeping pad from Amazon and the $40 sleeping bag from Big 5 will do nothing to keep you warm? Well… I spent a lot of cold nights out there not so patiently waiting for morning.

Did you also know that when you don’t plan your meals correctly, you’ll be starving on an exhausting 16 mile hike? Well, I also learned that one the hard way. When I was on a multi-day backpacking trip and needed to hike out 16 miles back to the car and ran out of food.

Over time I’ve learned more than a thing or two through my mistakes about what it takes to truly hike those bigger trails that we’re all daydreaming about.

Today…

I can do harder hikes without even batting an eye. Knowing without a shadow of a doubt that I will be safe, warm, my gear is on point, and that I know exactly what to do in any situation nature throws my way.

I’ve done trails like thru-hiking the High Sierra Trail, and sections of the John Muir Trail. Multiple 14ers (14,000 ft mountains) in California and Colorado, and other major bucket list trails like Half Dome and Havasupai.

Why would you want to go through all of that?

Wouldn’t you want to learn from who’s already been there?

What is Limitless Hiker?

A Limitless Hiker is able to pick a trail and go for it without the gripping fear for their safety, without second guessing your skillset, and with the confidence needed to make it to the top of the mountain and back down.

A Limitless Hiker works with their limitations, with the obstacles in life, and still finds a way to get out there. It’s not about how you can’t get outdoors, it’s about asking yourself HOW do I make this happen.

Can you imagine how it would feel and how differently your life is going to look if you step into being a Limitless Hiker?
